Two more vessels depart Ukraine Black Sea ports, Pivdennyi is third port in play

Two more ships, carrying corn and soybeans, left Ukrainian Black Sea ports on Monday August 8th, taking to 10 the total since the first ship sailed last week.

Bulk carrier Sacura (IMO 9497000), which departed from Pivdennyi (Yuzhne), is carrying 11,000 tons of soybeans to Italy, while the Arizona (IMO 9592733), which left  Chornomorsk, is carrying 48,458 tons of corn to Iskenderun in southern Turkey.

Separately, the Polarnet (IMO 9758961), which departed on Friday, reached its final destination in north-western Turkey’s Derince on Monday morning to be unloaded, marking the first completion of a shipment since the exports were re-launched on August 1st

So far, around 243,000 tons of corn has been exported from Ukraine on seven ships since the first departure, according to a tally of data from Turkey’s defence ministry.

2011-built, Liberia-flagged, 8,890 gt Sacura is owned by Sacura Navigation Ltd care of Intresco Ltd of Valletta, Malta. It is entered with Thomas Miller Specialty on behalf of Intresco Ltd BVI.

2010-built, Liberia-flagged, 33,044 gt Arizona is owned by Nugent Shipping SA care of manager Ocean Agencies Ltd of London, UK. ISM manager is Staff Centre Shipmanagement of Odesa, Ukraine. It is entered with UK Club on behalf of Nugent Shipping SA.

2016-built, 8,559 gt Polarnet is owned by Polarnet Iletisim Ve Gemi of Istanbul, Turkey. It is managed by Polarcom Denizcilik Anonum Sti of Istanbul, Turkey.
