USCG seeks new tech for Maritime Domain Dominance initiative

Must read

The US Coast Guard has issued a major Request for Information seeking advanced technologies to help establish “Maritime Domain Dominance,” a shift from simple maritime awareness to actively shaping and controlling activity across 95,000 miles of US coastline. The Coast Guard wants a real-time, integrated “detect-to-act” network connecting cutters, aircraft, unmanned systems, and multi-layered sensors across space, air, surface, and subsurface domains. AI-enabled tools, unified command-and-control displays, and rapid-response capabilities are priorities. Industry proposals must address cybersecurity, interoperability with military networks, and scalable architecture. Responses are due January 2, 2026, with testing support available through the RAPTOR prototype team.
