From January to September, the Anhui Wuhu Asphalt Dedicated Wharf maintained a continuous growth trend in throughput, cumulatively handling 177,400 tons of asphalt loading and unloading, with a cargo value exceeding 630 million yuan. The handling volume increased by 78.47% year-on-year, reaching a record high.
The Anhui Wuhu Asphalt Dedicated Wharf is the only dedicated asphalt wharf in Anhui Province, operated and managed by Anhui Huanyu Highway Asphalt Material Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Anhui Port and Shipping Group. Since the beginning of this year, the company has anchored its goals on building the “Wanjiang Regional Asphalt Trade Distribution Center,” adhering to the general principle of “stabilizing existing volume, expanding incremental volume, improving quality and efficiency, and promoting development,” focusing on key areas and applying precise efforts. In terms of business, the regional distribution “circle of friends” continues to expand, deepening roots in the Wanjiang region, radiating to Hubei and Jiangxi, and connecting to Shanghai and Guangdong. Asphalt sales increased by 42% year-on-year, with over 10 new upstream and downstream customers added, further solidifying the foundation of supply chain cooperation. In terms of quality, strict standards are prioritized, with seamless quality control throughout the entire chain from asphalt procurement and storage to outbound delivery. Efficiency has significantly improved, with the average ship unloading time reduced by 7% and wharf utilization rate increased by 50%. In safety, multiple measures are implemented, strengthening prevention and control from aspects such as management measures and hardware guarantees. Protective guardrails have been fully installed in the wharf operation area, establishing a safety barrier for asphalt loading and unloading operations.
