VIVA Cruises presented its newest ship, the VIVA Unique, the second floating boutique hotel, which will set sail from the Port of Venice and open a completely new cruise area along the lagoon and, above all, the Po River, combining the art, culture, and gastronomy of Italy.
The inaugural voyage of the VIVA Unique departs from Venice on May 28, 2027, and the new journeys are already available to book. The CEO and co-founder of VIVA Cruises, Andrea Kruse, pointed out that “without exaggerating, this is the project of my heart. Venice is my favorite region.”
The new cruise area on the Po River offers very attractive destinations for excursions: whether to the city of Cremona, known for its musical culture and the Stradivari family of violin makers, or to Bologna in Emilia Romagna with its medieval architecture and its world-famous culinary products, from Ragù Bolognese to Parmigiano Reggiano and from Aceto Balsamico to Mortadella. To Verona and following in the footsteps of Romeo and Juliet, or to true gourmet paradises, Italy’s local markets and family-owned wineries with centuries of history await tourists.
Kruse added that “our guests explore one of the most charming regions of Italy and all of Europe, for me, and we add to that the Dolce Vita as a lifestyle and attitude.”
Following the inaugural voyage of the VIVA Unique from Venice on May 28, 2027, the cruise line proposes additional cruises until October 29.
