Recently, the H1422 vessel, a 114,000-ton Aframax product tanker built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for Greece’s Oceangold Corporation, successfully completed its sea trial and triumphantly returned, berthing at the company’s dock. Responsible persons from various departments of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding were at the dock to welcome the return of the sea trial team.
The H1422 vessel is the third ship in this series built by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding for Greece’s Oceangold Corporation. All departments worked cohesively, fully absorbed the construction experience from previous vessels, and advanced the various production task objectives for this ship according to plan. Before the sea trial, all mooring test items were completed, and the entire ship’s painting and cleaning work were finished ahead of schedule, successfully achieving the current phase’s “Four Clearances” work target, reaching a “delivery-ready” state for the sea trial.
During the sea trial, the project team strictly followed the trial plan and progressively completed the sea trial items. Verification confirmed that the performance indicators of major equipment such as the ballast tank, cargo oil tank strength tests, main engine, boiler, steering gear, generator, anchor winch, desulfurization system, and SCR met the design specification requirements, receiving full affirmation and praise from the shipowner and classification society.
