The president of the port of Tarragona Santiago Castellà and the mayor of Salou, Pere Granados, have met to give new impetus to the common projects shared by the two institutions. One of the main points of the meeting was the recovery of the Greek village of Kal·lipolis, an archaeological site located in Salou. In this regard, the Port Authority of Tarragona has committed to promoting the excavation of a part of the site located on port land, to align it at the level with that corresponding to the City Council and which is already consolidated and museumized.
The president of Fomento visits the port
The president of Fomento del Trabajo, Josep Sánchez Llibre and other representatives of the business confederation, have visited the port of Tarragona, to explain the main strategic projects of the port, such as the new ZAL, the multi-purpose terminal and the intermodal infrastructures. Sánchez Llibre, has signed the honor book of the Port Authority, subsequently they have had this meeting and finally they have made a trip on a swallow boat to see the port facilities from the sea.
