On April 25, Yantian International Container Terminalsissued a notice of pre-holiday adjustment of gate-in measures for laden export containers.
The notice shows that the golden week of May Day is approaching. In order to meet the export peak before the holiday, meet the strong shipping demand of customers and help customers ship in an orderly, efficient and safe manner, the number of reserved gate-in of Yantian’s laden export containers increased from 12000 containers per day to 13000 containers per day from April 27 to 30 (the reservation arrangement of 12000 containers per day will be adjusted from May 1).
Yantian Port continues to maintain a special time slot for ETB-4 trucks to reserve laden export containers from 06:00 to 10:00 every day. After 10:00, it is open to ETB-7 (that is, within seven days before the ship’s expected berthing date) for laden export containers reservations.
There are 6 time periods in Yantian Port to make reservation for the gate-in of laden export containers:
00:00-04:00, 04:00-08:00;
08:00-12:00, 12:00-16:00;
16:00-20:00, 20:00-24:00.
Truck drivers need to cooperate together and arrive at the port according to the appointment time to ensure the orderly operation of the trucks entering the port.
