On the evening of August 27, Jianglong Shipbuilding announced the signing of a procurement contract with Changdao Shengzhou Shipping Co., Ltd. for the “Changdao ‘Blue Granary’ Marine Economy Development Zone Infrastructure Construction Project (Phase III) — Comprehensive Land-Sea Transportation Support Project,” with a total value of 78.55 million yuan.
The announcement shows that the subject matter of the aforementioned contract is one 799-passenger vessel and one 499-passenger vessel. The contract was signed on August 18, 2025, and will take effect after the legal representatives of both Party A and Party B, or their authorized representatives, sign the original and duplicate copies of the contract and affix their company seals. The new vessels will be delivered within 18 months from the official effective date of the contract.
Jianglong Shipbuilding stated that the total value of this contract is 78.55 million yuan, accounting for 4.54% of the company’s audited operating revenue for 2024. If the project is successfully implemented, it will be beneficial for enhancing the market share and brand influence of the company’s series of tourism and leisure vessels. It is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s future operating performance but will not affect the independence of the company’s operations.
