Recently, the first 9,500-unit methanol-fueled oceangoing car carrier “Anji Jisheng”, built by Jiangnan Shipyard (Group) Co., Ltd. for Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., was officially named and delivered on Changxing Island.

It is reported that SAIC Anji Logistics Co., Ltd. has ordered a total of three 9,500-unit car carriers from Jiangnan Shipyard, with “Anji Jisheng” being the last vessel in the series. The ship has an overall length of 228 meters and is a new-generation post-Panamax car carrier specifically designed for the transportation of cars, trucks, and new energy vehicles. It complies with the latest international emission regulations and features advanced technology and green environmental protection. The vessel adopts green environmental protection technologies such as “methanol-ready + scrubber + selective catalytic reduction system (SCR) + shaft generator”, significantly reducing emissions of sulfur oxides and other greenhouse gases. At the same time, an integrated optimization strategy is employed, combining the hull, propeller, rudder, and other energy-saving devices for optimal selection and configuration, balancing layout rationality, operability, stability, and economy. The vessel is characterized by high operational flexibility, excellent green energy efficiency, and a strong environmental protection concept.

With this, the car carrier project built by Jiangnan Shipyard for Anji Logistics Co., Ltd., under the plan approval and survey of CCS, has completed the survey and delivery of all eight vessels across three ship types. CCS actively supports the construction and development of China’s large-scale PCTC fleet, organizing a team of senior surveyors with superb skills and a strong work ethic to form a plan approval and on-site survey project team. This team provides efficient and high-quality plan approval and on-site survey services, meticulously oversees the quality of ship construction, and proactively coordinates with the ship construction schedule. At the same time, relying on the “Ma Qiaoyi Ingenuity Studio” established at Jiangnan Shipyard, the project team conducts multi-level technical exchange and discussion, actively participates in shipyard process improvement and optimization as well as other shipbuilding technology research and development work, and promotes the joint improvement of construction technology and survey technical capabilities. Their performance has been highly recognized by both the shipyard and the shipowner.
