
Recently, Fujian Shipbuilding and its long-term strategic partner Jiangsu Antarctic Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Antarctic Machinery”) held a key project cooperation signing ceremony in Fuzhou. The agreement focuses on the supply of critical equipment for two core ship types, marking a new level in their strategic partnership after over 30 years of mutual trust and collaboration. Both parties are committed to enhancing the core competitiveness of the ship equipment supply chain.
Huang Rutang, Party Committee Member and Deputy General Manager of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Fujian Shipbuilding, along with Zeng Jinzhu, Party Committee Member and General Manager of Fujian Shipbuilding, and heads of relevant business departments attended the signing ceremony. Representing Antarctic Machinery were General Manager Ni Jianfeng, Deputy General Manager Ni Jilin, and key team members.

The signing of this key project cooperation agreement represents a further deepening and elevation of the long-standing trust and close partnership between the two parties. Huang Rutang highly praised Antarctic Machinery for its outstanding products and efficient services in supporting various key projects for Fujian Shipbuilding and its subsidiaries, calling it a “trustworthy partner.” He expressed hope that Antarctic Machinery would continue to enhance the technological content and cost-performance advantages of its products, increase R&D investment, and introduce higher-quality, more valuable products. Together with Fujian Shipbuilding, they aim to forge a more internationally competitive ship equipment supply chain for long-term mutual benefit.
Witnessed by attendees, representatives from both sides solemnly signed the project cooperation agreement.
The agreement focuses on two major projects. The first involves 15 12,000-ton self-unloading barges, for which Antarctic Machinery will provide sewage treatment systems, pressure water tanks, and shafting bundled services. The second project covers 30 80,000-ton grain carriers, with Antarctic Machinery supplying ballast water management systems, sewage treatment systems, and pressure water tank bundled services.

This signing not only solidifies the three-decade-long cooperation and trust between the two parties but also lays a crucial foundation for future shared success. Fujian Shipbuilding and Antarctic Machinery will continue to work side by side, deepen strategic synergy, and turn these key projects into exemplary achievements, contributing more reliable and environmentally friendly “Made in China” solutions to the global shipping industry!
