The FESCO service employs six ships

The Russian transport and logistics group FESCO announced today that in the first half of this year, its Baltorient Line maritime service connecting the port of St. Petersburg with the ports of China and India transported a volume of containerized cargo equal to 42,100 TEU, an increase of +9% compared to the first half of 2024. In particular, import cargo—consisting mainly of consumer and industrial goods—grew by +12%, rising to 26,000 TEU, while export cargo—primarily represented by forest products from Russia and construction materials, agricultural products, and other goods from Belarus—increased by +5%, totaling 16,100 TEU.

In the service, which operates biweekly, six container ships with a capacity of 2,471 TEU are currently employed.
