Quota 15.7 million tonnes of goods handled, 800 thousand more than the same period in 2024

The port of Ravenna closed the first seven months of 2025 with growing numbers: 15.7 million tonnes of goods handled, 800 thousand more than the same period in 2024. A 5.4% increase that confirms the positive trend of the Ravenna port infrastructure.

The ships that called at the port were 1,524, about twenty more than the previous year. Most of the traffic concerns landings (13.7 million tonnes), while loadings stand at 2 million tonnes. The agri-food sector records the best performance with a +16.3%, handling 3.3 million tonnes. Cereals lead this growth with 1.2 million tonnes (+65%), while vegetable oils increase by 19% reaching 452 thousand tonnes.

Petroleum products mark a +27% with 2.1 million tonnes, driven mainly by traffic to the regasification terminal. A significant result at a time when energy diversification represents a strategic priority.

Construction materials also grow by 6.6% (2.7 million tonnes), with particular reference to raw materials for the ceramics of the Sassuolo district (+7.5%).
