Ultramar Agencia Marítima actively participated in a hydrocarbon spill drill developed at the facilities of Empresa Portuaria Austral (EPAustral) in the Port of Punta Arenas.
The activity, led by EPAustral, Marval (OSR) and the Punta Arenas Port Captaincy, included the deployment of floating barriers, drone monitoring and containment maneuvers, reinforcing the joint work for safety and environmental care.
Emdepes and the factory ship Unionsur participated in the exercise. On this occasion, Ultramar facilitated the coordination with the shipowner for the crew’s collaboration.
