The Buenaventura Container Terminal (TCBuen) reported an incident involving a container that presented a spill while being moved inside the facility, temporarily compromising the access road to the Buenaventura Logistics Terminal (TLBuen) and generating delays in the activities of the break-bulk and coffee warehouse.
“Our emergency response team, together with specialized allied providers, immediately activated the established protocols for the containment and control of the spill with the objective of guaranteeing safety and mitigating the impact on the development of logistics operations,” explained the port operator.
“We appreciate your understanding regarding the possible delays presented during this period and we reiterate our commitment to safety, operational continuity, and timely service to our clients,” stated TCBuen.
