Following the proclamation of a 9-day supplementary shift strike by Uiltrasporti, Sers, a company of the Medtug group and the concession holder for the towing service in Ravenna, has responded to the union’s claims.

In particular, the company reiterated “the full compliance with the rules on trade union relations, as was already confirmed in recent months during the conciliation and cooling-off procedures before the Prefect of Ravenna following the ‘state of agitation’ that had been unexpectedly declared by Uiltrasporti”.

In detail, Sers emphasized in a note “how all phases of the negotiation saw the participation of Uiltrasporti with full authority in the debate, represented by the Regional Secretary or his internal Rsu delegate, as also proven by the notes issued by the Filt-Cgil and Fit-Cisl Ravenna Secretariats, participants in the negotiation, who promptly distanced themselves from the strike proclaimed by Uiltrasporti”.

Not only that, because Sers also decided to “emphasize how, on last September 30th, the date of Uiltrasporti’s unexpected communication, the meeting with all the trade unions for the signing of the draft agreement for the renewal of the Company Integrative Contract (scheduled for the next October 15th) had already been set, a draft agreement reached after six months of intense meetings”.
