They will be effective from October 15 and until further notice
Copenhagen – Maersk has announced the update of its Emergency Contingency Surcharge (Ecs), the emergency surcharge applied due to the situation in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, effective from October 15 and until further notice. The update does not concern exports from the Far East. Maersk stated that it will “continue to monitor developments in the Red Sea / Gulf of Aden area” and “carefully adapt its services to ensure the safety of crews, ships and customer cargo”.
