The Malagaport Foundation together with Noatum Terminal Malaga and Estimálaga held the III Conference on Safety and Health at Work, dedicated to mental health in the work environment and the prevention of psychosocial risks. The meeting held in the Oyarábal hall of the Diputación de Málaga was held in collaboration with the Autoridad Portuaria de Málaga, the Junta de Andalucía, the Diputación Provincial de Málaga, as well as the entities Geseme, Quirón Prevención and Más Prevención.
The conference began with a welcome from Carmelo San Martín, head of the department of the Secretaría General y Servicios Comunes of the Autoridad Portuaria de Málaga. Subsequently, a round table was held under the theme: ‘Mental Health and Business: a proposal from the psychology of employment’. The conference continued with the workshop ‘Coping with work-related stress’ and ended with an intervention by César Segarra, director of Noatum Terminal Málaga. With this third edition, the Malagaport Foundation and the participating entities reaffirm their commitment to safety, health and well-being in the workplace, consolidating this conference as a reference space for the promotion of a preventive culture in the Malaga port environment.
