The Port of Paracas, located in the Province of Pisco, began shipments for the 2025 – 2026 grape season after shipping the first container with the merchandise abroad.

According to projections from the Peruvian maritime terminal, it is expected to mobilize 46.6 million boxes through Ica, a quantity that considers the use of 21 thousand containers. The port facility aims to exceed the participation recorded in 2024, which was 38%.

It should be remembered that, previously, the port reported that the Andes Express service of the shipping line Seatrade will operate again at the facility to offer a connection with the US East Coast that allows the shipment of agro-exports from southern Peru.

“For the 25/26 campaign, at least six calls from this pioneering service have been confirmed to date, which reaffirms the confidence in the Port of Paracas, our operational efficiency, and the value of a flexible and customer-oriented service,” was indicated from the maritime facility.

Likewise, Ocean Network Express (ONE) announced that it will incorporate a weekly call at its Florida Latin Express (FLX) service. The new call will begin to be effective with the departure of the container ship Cape Hellas at the end of November 2025 and will be in force during the summer season.

The Japanese shipping company detailed that the arrival of FLX at the Peruvian terminal will be dedicated to serving customers who transport refrigerated perishable cargo from the local market.
