In a significant leadership move, the Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri Jasvinder Singh for the role of Director (Strategic Project) at Hindustan Shipyard Limited. Other notable candidates included Shri Akhilesh Kamal Shah, Chief Quality Assurance Officer, and COMMODORE Vikram Bora, Director of Defence. The list also featured CMDR. Rajat Nagar, Warship Production Superintendent, and COMMODORE Ravinder Sud, Director of Ship Construction.
Shri Jasvinder Singh, currently serving as General Manager of Special Duties in the Navy, emerged as the top choice for the role. His extensive background and leadership experience in naval operations likely contributed to his selection. The PESB operates under the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India, and plays a crucial role in appointing leaders in public enterprises.
