Rome – Pasquale Legora de Feo has been confirmed as president of Uniport (Unione Nazionale Imprese Portuali) for the next two years. The decision was made unanimously by the private assembly of the associated companies, which operate in the major Italian ports, with over 4,000 employees and an aggregate turnover of approximately one billion euros. Legora de Feo, president and CEO of the Co.na.te.co and Soteco terminal in Naples, will be supported in his work by deputy president Fabrizio Zerbini and by vice presidents Ignazio Messina, Vito Totorizzo, Edoardo Monzani, Alberto Casali.

Uniport then opened the doors of its new headquarters to representatives from the political world with Deputy Minister of the Mit Edoardo Rixi (in the photo), as well as institutional and associative figures from the logistics and port cluster for the inauguration of the new offices in the very center of Rome on Via Quattro Fontane, just steps from Piazza Barberini.

President Legora explained that “the intention is to continue in the two years of the new mandate, with the collaboration of all members of the association’s bodies and the support of a structure that we have enriched in the past two years, on the path of growth of the membership base and strengthening of Uniport’s representativeness. These objectives are also the basis for the choice of the new headquarters, which is autonomous in order to strengthen the sense of belonging of the associated companies that we intend to support technically in an increasingly effective way and is close to the seats of the institutions, with which we want to continue a constructive and collaborative dialogue”. Legora also announced the establishment within Uniport of a “cruise and passenger” technical commission, a traffic segment of growing importance.
