The president of the National Chamber of Exporters of Bolivia (Caneb), Oswaldo Barriga, expressed the sector’s technical support for the Government to fulfill the economic objectives set by President Rodrigo Paz, including the liberation of exports, strengthening competitiveness, and consolidating legal security for businesses.

“We are here to offer the technical support of the institution we represent, the National Chamber of Exporters and all the regional chambers, so that the objectives set by President Paz and his economic cabinet can be fulfilled. Now we have seen the issue of the liberation of exports, the country’s competitiveness, and generating legal security for the entire business sector,” Barriga stated in an interview with Red Uno.

The head of the entity highlighted that the regional chambers and the Caneb are ready to support measures aimed at stabilizing the Bolivian economy and moving towards a new economic model that promotes production, foreign trade, and private investment.

The business representative explained that the implementation of these measures will be progressive due to the difficulties inherited from the previous government, but expressed his confidence in the progress made in the meetings held with the Executive.

“We are sure, based on the meetings we have had, that these measures that have been proposed will be achieved,” affirmed Barriga, underlining that the export sector will continue to collaborate to invigorate the economy.
