On November 20, the #4 7700DWT /oil tanker built by Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding was successfully launched. Hangtong Shipbuilding Deputy General Manager Wang Chao, Deputy General Manager Li Haifeng, representatives from Lloyd’s Register, and relevant personnel from the Marketing Department and Ship Project Department attended the ceremony.
The ship has a length of 103.88 meters, a beam of 19 meters, a depth of 10 meters, a design draft of 7.2 meters, and a design speed of 10 knots. It is classed by Lloyd’s Register (LR) and meets the requirements for unlimited navigation areas. The ship is electrically driven, equipped with two sets of full-rotation rudder propellers and one set of bow thrusters, and is mainly used for transporting fuel oil, biofuels, and methanol. The generator sets are equipped with an SCR system, and the emissions meet the TIER III emission requirements.
