Within the framework of the Assembly (will deliver a national statement) he will participate in the Meeting of Heads of Delegation, organized by the Secretary-General of the IMO, Arsenio Dominguez, as well as in the award ceremony for Greece within the framework of the “International Maritime Prize- 2025 IMO Honours for Exceptional Bravery at Sea”.
On the margins of the IMO Assembly, Mr. Kikilias will hold bilateral meetings with the Minister of Transport of Qatar, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Thani, the Deputy Minister of Transport of Saudi Arabia, Dr Rumaih Al – Rumaih, the Deputy Minister of Transport of China, Mr. Li Yang and the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Transportation Affairs Bureau of Economic, Energy and Business Affairs of the USA, Mr. Marco M. Sylvester.
Furthermore, he will host a working lunch for the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works of Malta, Mr. Chris Bonett, the Deputy Minister of Shipping of Cyprus, Mrs. Marina Hatzimanoli and the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport of Italy, Mr. Edoardo Rixi.
