Tomorrow, starting at 2:30 PM, at the Sala Ferretti of the Fortezza Vecchia, the Autorità di Sistema Portuale will host a stakeholder consultation seminar, both public and private, on the priority topics of the sustainability and resilience of the ports under its jurisdiction.

The meeting has an eminently operational character, with question and answer sessions for the port stakeholders, private and public entities, who have been invited. And it represents a fundamental activity in the process of drafting both the 2025 Sustainability Report and the Climate Resilience Plan provided for by the financing contract signed with the European Investment Bank for the construction of the Darsena Europa in 2024, a strategic document through which to analyze adaptation measures and the mitigation of vulnerabilities to climate change.

Regarding the Sustainability Report, during the seminar stakeholders will be consulted directly, with whom the impacts that the activities of the ADSP, and of ports in general, have externally and on the territory will be analyzed.

externally, and therefore towards the community of stakeholders and the territory in general, which at the same time as the monetary consequences that environmental, social and organizational dynamics can have on the finances of the ADSP and on the port economy as a whole. The structure of the seminar for this part consequently includes a framing of the ESG (environmental, social and organizational) themes, pre-identified by the consulting firm TIM10 srl, coordinated by university professor Giovanni Satta.

The second part of the seminar is preparatory to the drafting of the Resilience Plan and constitutes a first systematic reflection on the exposure of port infrastructures to adverse climate events, such as floods, heat waves, and rising sea levels.

Port companies, trade unions, local institutions, trade associations, the Capitaneria di Porto and the technical-nautical services will participate in the event.
