Changsha, November 21 (Xinhua) (By Lu Yi, Zhang Wenbo, Lin Yi) Under the supervision and release of the Xingsha Customs, a subsidiary of Changsha Customs, the first China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha) full-timetable train departed from Changsha North Station on the 21st. The train, fully loaded with electronic instruments, household appliances, and other goods, will exit via the Khorgos port and head directly to Poznan, Poland.

A full-timetable China-Europe Railway Express refers to a train that operates according to the train numbers, routes, schedules, and fixed /foreign departure, port, and destination times agreed upon by the railways of the countries along the route. This launched train departs regularly every Friday, covering a total station-to-station distance of 10,396 kilometers, with a stable transit time of 12 days and 17 hours. Upon arrival, the goods can be distributed to major logistics hubs across Europe, including Rotterdam, Duisburg, Hamburg, Prague, and Budapest.

Peng Jiang, Operations Manager of the Business Department at Zhongnan Land Port, the operating platform for the China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha), explained that the core advantage of the full-timetable train lies in its extreme timeliness certainty. This train saves approximately 72 hours in transit time compared to ordinary trains, and its controllable timeliness advantage becomes even more pronounced during congestion periods. The “scheduled arrival” commitment helps enterprises accurately plan production and inventory, giving them the confidence to accept orders with shorter delivery times, thereby reducing capital occupation and market risks.

According to estimates, under this new model, the comprehensive logistics costs for enterprises exporting via the China-Europe Railway Express (Changsha) can be reduced by 15%. For manufacturers and traders of time-sensitive goods such as electronic products, automotive parts, and high-end consumer goods, the full-timetable train provides an ideal solution that is more cost-effective than air freight, significantly faster than sea shipping, and highly reliable.
