Coneksion and Ship Angel Expand Digital Carrier Access

Coneksion has integrated its carrier connectivity service into Ship Angel’s freight management platform, giving shippers and BCOs a single point of access to major global ocean carriers. The partnership reflects a growing need for simpler and more reliable data exchange in an increasingly digital logistics environment.

Coneksion has entered a new partnership with Ship Angel that brings a wider range of direct carrier connections to shippers and beneficial cargo owners using the New York based platform. The integration places Coneksion’s managed connectivity service inside Ship Angel’s operating system, allowing customers to interact with the world’s major ocean carriers through one interface.

Ship Angel has grown its reputation among BCOs by offering tools that centralise rate management, bookings, freight audit and purchase order workflows. Its platform is built for logistics teams that manage global cargo flows and need faster access to accurate information. With Coneksion’s technology now in place, Ship Angel users can link directly with carriers including MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM, COSCO, OOCL, Hapag Lloyd, ONE, Evergreen Line, HMM, Yang Ming, ZIM, Wan Hai Lines and PIL. Additional carriers connected through Coneksion’s Common Carrier Layer are also available.

The integration covers essential operational workflows. These include booking requests and confirmations, shipping instructions, verified gross mass submissions, bills of lading, track and trace updates and acknowledgements where carriers support them. For shippers, the change removes the burden of building and managing multiple technical connections. Instead they can work with their carriers through a single, consistent channel.
