A particularly moving and symbolic event is being prepared by P.E.P.I.E.TH., its president Cpt Dr. Georgos Valls and the Association’s Administrative Council, honoring individuals who, through their actions and life stance, have highlighted the values of solidarity, selflessness, and human strength. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 18:00, at Dia Noche in Marina Alimos.
This is the Association’s first major gathering after the completion of this year’s season, an evening dedicated to seafarers but also to citizens who, through small or large acts, have proven that humanity can become a beacon in difficult times. At the heart of the event will be honorary awards, which will be presented to people who stood out for their contribution, self-sacrifice, and their example to society. The reasons for the awards concern acts of courage, social awareness, support for fellow human beings, and tangible solidarity.
The evening is a tribute to those who show that the sea is not just a profession, but a way of life, and that giving knows no borders. Through this event, P.E.P.I.E.TH. seeks to highlight stories of real strength that often remain unseen.
