Valencia – In the first ten months of 2025, Spanish ports handled more than 465 million tons of goods. Containers (teu) recorded an increase of 2.4%, while import-export grew by 8.3%, confirming the positive trend of this traffic and highlighting the importance of ports in Spain’s foreign trade. Spanish ports exceed 36.8 million passenger movements. According to provisional data published by Puertos del Estado, ports of general interest in Spain handled up to October 2025 465.1 million tons of goods, recording a decrease of 0.7% compared to the same period of the previous year.
