LA SPEZIA – Blue Design Summit 2026, from 18 to 20 May in La Spezia, the initiative promotes creativity, sustainability and innovation in nautical design, coastal zone development and interior design through conferences, a competition, technical visits and awards with international industry leaders.

The central moment will be the session entitled: “Future-proof superyachts: designing tomorrow’s value today”, scheduled for Tuesday 19 May from 10.45 to 11.30 at the Teatro Civico di La Spezia.

A panel composed of designers, engineers, managers and consultants from the sector will analyse one of the most strategic themes for the contemporary nautical industry: how to design superyachts capable, not only of meeting current needs, but also of adapting to the profound technological and energy changes destined to redefine the sector in the coming years.

In today’s landscape, marked by the acceleration of innovation and the energy transition, owners demand value over time, evolutionary reliability and design flexibility. The ability to integrate future technologies, new propulsion systems and emerging energy solutions now represents a decisive element for preserving the yacht’s performance, sustainability and competitiveness throughout its entire life cycle.

Guido Orsi – Vice President, Tankoa
Stefano De Vivo – Executive Chairman & Partner, WOSA Yacht Refit
