Recently, Runbang Marine, a subsidiary of Runbang Co., Ltd., successfully delivered the second SPP40 platform supply vessel, “KATRAN” (N1054), built for CDB Financial Leasing and SPEC. This marks another breakthrough in the company’s batch construction and履约能力 for the SPP40 series platform supply vessels, and further solidifies a strong foundation for deeper engagement in the high-end offshore engineering equipment sector.
The timely delivery of this “maritime sharp tool” is another fruitful result of the concerted efforts and meticulous craftsmanship of multiple parties. From the repeated refinement of design blueprints to the pursuit of perfection in construction processes, from the joint tackling of technical challenges to the strict control of inspection and testing, the full trust of CDB Financial Leasing, the strong support of SPEC, the professional empowerment of Bureau Veritas, and the meticulous manufacturing by the Runbang Marine project team have formed an efficient, closely coordinated, and excellent cooperation pattern. During the construction process, all project technical personnel, construction personnel, and inspection personnel worked closely together, supporting each other, overcoming one difficulty after another, and fulfilling the quality commitment with sweat and perseverance.
Currently, the SPP40 platform supply vessel series project is progressing well. The first vessel, “CL SPEC LISA” (N1053), has been delivered and put into operation, and the second vessel, “KATRAN,” has also been completed and delivered. With the successive delivery of the series vessels, Runbang Marine’s batch construction capability “from 1 to N” continues to stand out. This means the company can continuously supply high-end, reliable platform supply vessel equipment to the global offshore engineering market with shorter delivery cycles, more stable product quality, and more competitive cost advantages.
