Mid West Ports Authority reported that the strong commercial momentum continues, with April offering another exceptional month of results, including 1.79 million tonnes of commercial traffic, the best April on record.
Some of the other points highlighted by the Australian authority include cumulative records so far this year in both revenue (USD 86.6 million) and commercial flow (17.8 million tonnes); and that the year-to-date fiscal year performance rose 14.8% year-on-year.
Grain exports were also highlighted, with 404,962 tonnes, as well as mineral exports, with 1.2 million tonnes, and the total number of vessels that visited the docks, which reached 39.
“These results reflect the continued strength of trade in the Mid West and the hard work of the teams, customers and industry partners who keep the port operating safely and efficiently every day,” said Mid West Port Authority.
