Uni-Fuels is recruiting a general manager to lead its London bunker trading desk, with the appointment covering commercial strategy, P&L responsibility and direct customer engagement.
The Nasdaq-listed marine fuel firm, founded in 2021, is seeking someone with deep bunker-trading experience and a proven track record in senior commercial roles.
The London hire will be responsible for the desk’s overall performance, as well as originating, negotiating and closing bunker fuel transactions with buyers, brokers and traders.
Key duties include daily marine fuel deal activity, commercial planning aligned with market trends, and relationship management with shipowners, charterers, operators, and physical suppliers.
The general manager will also oversee recruitment, training and mentoring for the London desk, define key performance indicators and work with Uni-Fuels executives and sister offices.
They should have strong knowledge of the marine fuel sector and shipping markets, as well as an established industry network.
Uni-Fuels is looking for a commercially minded player-coach who can negotiate firmly, communicate clearly, manage conflict constructively and adapt to changing market conditions.
The posting highlights wellbeing support, professional development and career prospects.
Uni-Fuels is a bunker trader and broker that operates across a number of locations, with offices in Dubai, Limassol, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and its most recent addition, Bangkok, opened in February 2026.
In recent months, the company has been advertising positions for new offices in both London and Piraeus.
