The Chinese shipyard Yangfan received an order to build two container ships with a capacity of 2,700 TEU. Regarding who made the request, it is known that it would be an investor from Hong Kong.
According to Alphaliner, the ordered vessels would correspond to the Safari Sealion 2700 design. Furthermore, it was indicated that “the two vessels will be built by Zhejiang East Coast Shipbuilding in Zhoushan /or by Zhejiang Tenglong Shipbuilding in Wenling”.
Based on what was reported by the aforementioned source, the delivery of these container ships would take place during the course of 2027, without specifying in which month it would be finalized.
