On June 22, the ocean fishing vessel “Fuyuan Yu 7642”, repaired by the Ship Repair Division of Mawei Shipbuilding under Fujian Shipbuilding, was successfully completed and delivered.
During the docking period, the project team efficiently carried out multiple operations including painting of approximately 2,000 square meters of underwater hull plating, replacement of rudder stock water seals, repair of various engine room valves, and maintenance of deck machinery. At the same time, to address the adverse impact of intermittent severe convective weather on painting work, the project team coordinated process衔接, precisely allocated work windows, and ensured seamless衔接 of all construction stages, completing the entire repair task in just 11 days.
Previously, the Ship Repair Division has successfully delivered multiple repair projects for ocean fishing vessels, accumulating extensive experience in repairing ocean fishing vessels. This has enabled them to effectively shorten docking periods while ensuring repair quality, saving time and operational costs for shipowners and continuously enhancing market competitiveness. In the next step, the Ship Repair Division will continue to refine processes and optimize management, making every effort to ensure the on-time, high-quality delivery of all ship repair projects.
