Investment exceeding 23 million euros

This morning in the port of Livorno, two new warehouses were inaugurated, totaling 17 square meters, built by FHP MarterNeri of the FHP group with an investment exceeding 23 million euros. The new structures were built through the reconversion of two areas following the demolition of a warehouse and a cement plant from the last century and will be entirely dedicated to the storage of forest products, paper, and cellulose, and will contribute to increasing the total capacity of the Livorno port.

Participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony and congratulating the company for the excellent work carried out—which, he emphasized, is a historic entity of the Livorno port—the President of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authority, Davide Gariglio, highlighted that “behind this intervention there is deep trust in the potential of our port and its community.” Recalling that the AdSP currently has ongoing infrastructure investments exceeding 600 million euros and stressing that the port’s development requires continuous resources, Gariglio specified that “public funds are not enough; we need—he clarified—private investments like this one to grow. I hope there will be more and more entrepreneurs who, like FHP MarterNeri, choose to bet on the future of our port.
