AD Ports Group and IRH Global Trading will boost fuel supply at Khalifa Port

AD Ports Group and IRH Global Trading signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore strategic cooperation in bunkering services and alternative marine fuels at Khalifa Port.

The agreement outlines potential collaboration in various areas, including the supply of fuel to vessels arriving at that terminal, the development of alternative fuel solutions such as liquefied natural gas (LNG), biofuels and methanol, and the exploration of opportunities related to fuel storage infrastructure, terminal facilities, and fuel sampling and analysis capabilities.

Saif Al Mazrouei, Chief Executive Officer of the Ports Cluster at AD Ports Group, stated that “this collaboration reflects our commitment to forging strategic partnerships that generate long-term sustainable value. By working alongside trusted partners like IRH, we enhance our capabilities and support the development of future-ready infrastructure and services that strengthen the UAE’s position as a leading global hub for trade and logistics, in line with the vision of our wise leadership.”

Through this collaboration, AD Ports Group and IRH Global Trading seek to further enhance the value proposition of Khalifa Port as a deep-water multipurpose terminal that supports efficient, sustainable and forward-looking maritime operations.

IRH Global Trading is a global strategic commodities trading company with interests across the mining and energy value chain, and plans to build a diversified global minerals and energy trading platform, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), crude oil and refined products.
