While the vessel was docked in the Port of Honfleur, France, around 4 am local time, a fire broke out on board the river cruise ship MS Botticelli, according to CroisiEurope.

The emergency was brought under control by the Fire Department and the crew. According to the company, emergency protocols were immediately activated, allowing the safe evacuation of all passengers and crew, with no injuries reported.

Emergency services responded quickly and managed to contain the fire, and local authorities immediately attended to all passengers. CroisiEurope teams arranged their accommodation in hotels and organized their return home, which was scheduled to begin the following day.
