El Puerto San Nicolás, in Argentina, highlighted a level of movement it described as high with the simultaneous operation of three vessels at different docks.

According to information provided by the port facility, the vessel Norse Veracruz, a bulk carrier of 183 meters in length, 30 meters in beam, and flying the Panamanian flag, which arrived from Saudi Arabia with 14,300 tons of urea, docked at the north pier.

Likewise, the south pier received the vessel Kamenitza, another bulk carrier that arrived from Russia with 7,700 tons of diammonium phosphate (DAP) on board. The ship is 189 meters in length, 23 meters in beam, and sails under the flag of Malta.

At the same time, the elevator dock served the Chemstar River, a tanker of 150 meters in length, 23 meters in beam, and flagged in Panama, which called to unload 15 tons of alcohol and vegetable oil.

“These operations reflect the role of Puerto San Nicolás as a key logistics node for the entry and distribution of strategic inputs, both for the agro-industrial sector and for industry. The constant flow of cargo and the diversification of products consolidate its contribution to regional and national productive development,” stated the port facility.
