The Sihanoukville Autonomous Port (PAS) celebrated the commemoration of the achievement of 500 TEU in traffic within the framework of the cooperation with the Port of Jiangyin, at Container Terminal No. 7 of the terminal in the city of Wuxi, People’s Republic of China.
This event was presided over by His Excellency Mang Sineth, Governor of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Municipality; Thay Rithy, Deputy Director General of Business; the representative of His Excellency Lou Kim Chhun, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PAS; and Du Xiaogang, Secretary of the Party of the city of Wuxi.
This ceremony marks the beginning of the potential increase in container traffic thanks to the port connectivity between the terminals of Sihanoukville, in Cambodia, and Jiangyin, in eastern China.
