Aziz İhsan Aktaş was among those arrested in the operation targeting the Beşiktaş Municipality on January 13. After being detained for several months, Aktaş became a confessor during this process. Following the testimonies of Aktaş and his associates, CHP-affiliated mayors Rıza Akpolat, Hakan Bahçetepe, Kadir Aydar, Oya Tekin, Utku Caner Çaykara, and Zeydan Karalar were arrested. Aktaş, however, was released under house arrest on June 4.
According to a report by Dinçer Gökçe from Halk TV, Aziz İhsan Aktaş, one of the most debated figures in recent months, has been in the spotlight not only for the criminal investigation he is involved in but also for the concordat lawsuits he filed for his major companies.
**Capital of 2 Billion TL**
A critical decision in the concordat case of İçkale Sosyal Hizmetler Taşımacılık, a company with a capital of 2 billion TL, was issued on July 11. The Anadolu 1st Civil Court of Commerce granted the company a definitive one-year extension. During this period, no seizure proceedings can be initiated against the company.
**The Company Owns 3 Ships**
Established in July 2015, the company gained prominence through its large ships. The vessels named *Kıymet Ana*, *Havva Ana*, and *Yeni Yüzyıl*, which transport oil and petroleum products, belong to İçkale Sosyal Hizmetler Taşımacılık.
**Debt of 2.3 Billion TL**
According to the final concordat commissioner committee report submitted to the court, the company’s debt amounts to 2.3 billion TL, of which 1.4 billion TL is owed to banks. The report also states that the value of the three ships owned by the company is $21.55 million, equivalent to 860 million TL at today’s exchange rate.
**Debt to Be Repaid Within 3 Years**
According to the company’s concordat application file, existing debts will be paid to creditors with a 25% premium. The first payment date is set for September 2026, and the debt will be repaid within 36 months.
Aziz İhsan Aktaş also filed for concordat for Elif LPG Akaryakıt, a company with a debt of 1.5 billion TL.
**Elif LPG’s Debt: 1.5 Billion TL**
Another significant company owned by Aziz İhsan Aktaş is Elif LPG ve Akaryakıt AŞ. A major decision regarding the company’s concordat application was made last week. The Istanbul Anadolu 2nd Civil Court of Commerce granted the company an additional two-month extension. With a debt of 1.5 billion TL, the company operates Europe’s largest fuel station.
**80% of Tenders from AKP-affiliated Municipalities**
The concordat case of Bilginay Temizlik, an Ankara-based cleaning company that made headlines due to tenders it secured from municipalities, is ongoing in Ankara. The company, whose case is being heard at the Ankara 3rd Civil Court of Commerce, became the center of controversy after winning 388 tenders from municipalities and public institutions. It was revealed that 80% of these tenders, worth 15 billion TL, were awarded by AKP-affiliated municipalities. Bilginay Temizlik’s registered capital is 1 billion TL.
