BBC Chartering held a party in Brisbane in September celebrating its staff and partners.

Mauro Capano, the BBC Chartering Managing Director in Australia, thanked everyone who came, especially those who flew domestically and internationally.

With a newbuilding programme of eco-vessels underway, Mauro described it as an “exciting time” for BBC with the vision of the group being to build-up in the Handysize market.

“We are growing,” he told party guests.

He also added that there is “plenty” of turbulence in the market and that BBC is avoiding the Red Sea as the Group does not want to put anyone in harm’s way.

He added that the success of the business wouldn’t be possible without the help of the staff. He thanked everyone for their support – staff, clients and suppliers.
