Begüm Şirketler Grubu inaugurated its Begüm Maritime Consultancy office, which it established to strengthen its position in the maritime sector, with a widely attended ceremony. The opening was held at Zorlu Center – Raffles Istanbul with great interest from sector representatives.
The ceremony was attended by; Deniz Ticaret Odası Chairman Tamer Kıran, TURMEPA Chairman of the Board Şadan Kaptanoğlu, GİSBİR Vice Chairman Orhan Torlak, representatives of classification societies and flag states, and numerous senior executives from the maritime sector. The high attendance once again highlighted the sector’s increasing needs and expectations in the field of consultancy.
In her opening speech, Begüm Şirketler Grubu CEO Begüm Doğulu emphasized innovative consultancy services that will contribute to the transformation of the sector. Doğulu stated that the importance of sustainability, innovation, and international collaborations in the maritime world is increasing every day, and expressed that the new office is positioned to respond to these needs.
It was noted that Begüm Maritime Consultancy aims to be effective in both the local and global market in areas such as ship management, regulatory compliance, auditing, and strategic management. With this new structure, Begüm Şirketler Grubu aims to further strengthen its presence in the international arena by undertaking projects that add value to the maritime sector.
