The port guards of PortosRio completed an intensive authority protection training with 40 hours of theoretical and practical instruction, aimed at technical and operational improvement.
The training was conducted by the company Abrapam and featured an instructor team, composed of a former member of the Institutional Security Office of the Presidency of the Republic (GSI) with experience in the protection of four Presidents of the Republic, an operator from an elite unit of the Rio de Janeiro Police, and a former instructor of the Navy Special Forces.
During the course, participants conducted realistic drills of authority escorts (VIP Protection) with shooting practice, route planning, counter-surveillance techniques, and convoy movement protocols, reinforcing their preparedness and response capacity in high-complexity situations.
“This investment reinforces PortosRio’s commitment to security, operational readiness, and the recognition of the professionals who protect our ports every day,” stated Jorge Dantas, superintendent of the PortosRio Port Guard.
