The transaction for the Haris Vafeas interest company was expected to be completed on October 9, 2025, with the net proceeds to be used for general corporate purposes and working capital.
Aegis Capital Corp. is acting as the exclusive placement agent, while Goodwin Procter LLP is acting as legal counsel for the company and Kaufman & Canoles P.C. for Aegis.
It is noted that C3is Inc. has a fleet of four vessels -three handysize bulk carriers and one aframax tanker- with a total carrying capacity of 213,464 dwt.
