Capesize bulk carrier FRONTIER UNITY reported water ingress in engine room in the morning Jan 24 at Hay Point Anchorage, Australia, Coral sea. Technicians team was delivered on board, situation is said to be under control and stabilized by 1700 LT. Hay Point tugs responded, 2 tugs are on a standby near FRONTIER UNITY. What happened exactly and what caused water ingress, isn’t yet clear. The ship arrived at Hay Point Anchorage on Dec 22, from Abbot Point Australia.
