Recently, the Wuhan Branch of China Classification Society (CCS) issued the first certificate for a supplier of remotely operated vehicles (ROV) engaged in underwater ultrasonic thickness measurement to Wuhan Hai’an Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (Wuhan Hai’an Intelligent). Leaders from the Inspection Business Management Office of the Wuhan Branch and Wuhan Hai’an Intelligent attended the certificate issuance ceremony and conducted work exchanges.
The issuance of this supplier certificate marks a key breakthrough for ROVs in underwater ultrasonic thickness measurement, officially entering a new stage of standardized and industrialized development. This is not only a full recognition of Wuhan Hai’an Intelligent’s R&D capabilities and product quality but also another important breakthrough for the Wuhan Branch in deepening the application of new inspection and testing technologies.
During the exchange, the Wuhan Branch stated that Wuhan Hai’an Intelligent has long invested substantial human and material resources in the R&D of underwater robot ultrasonic thickness measurement technology. After actual evaluation by CCS headquarters and system experts, and passing boundary condition verification, performance testing, and other processes, this certification fully affirms its technical strength and service standards, providing a standardized path for intelligent underwater inspection of ships.
