The ABS Board of Directors elected John McDonald as its new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, at a board meeting on November 11.
Mr. McDonald will assume his duties on January 1, 2026, replacing the current Chairman, Christopher J. Wiernicki, who is retiring.
Mr. McDonald stated: “It is an honor to lead ABS. I do so with deep respect for its legacy of technical excellence and unwavering commitment to safety that has guided ABS for more than 160 years. Building on this foundation and with the support of a global team of professionals, I look forward to advancing our mission and continuing our journey towards development, innovation and impact in the future.
