China Marine Bunker (PetroChina) (Chimbusco) on Friday (10 October) said it successfully completed the first bonded B24-HSFO bunkering operation of a container ship at Tiaozhoumen anchorage in China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone.
The company completed the bunkering of a Hong Kong-registered container ship on 8 October.
This marked Chimbusco’s first bonded B24 bunkering operation in China (Zhejiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the first instance of Chimbusco supplying such fuel to a foreign container ship while undergoing repairs.
The bunkering operation utilised mass flow meters to speed up order processing times and reduced the risk of disputes.
“Chimbusco strictly adhered to international clean fuel standards, ensuring quality control of the biofuel from storage to supply,” the company said.
In response to the special safety requirements during ship repair and construction, the company formulated a dedicated anchorage supply plan, strictly adhering to safety standards.
