On November 28, Guangzhou Environmental Protection Investment Group Co., Ltd. and China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited Guangzhou Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony in Guangzhou. Zhu Xiaofeng, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of Guangzhou Environmental Protection Investment Group, and Wang Xuejun, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager of CSSC Guangzhou Company, witnessed the signing.
During the signing ceremony, representatives from both sides introduced their respective companies’ industrial layouts and development strategies, and jointly signed the “Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement.” According to the agreement, both parties will establish a regular cooperation mechanism based on the principles of “complementary advantages, equality, mutual benefit, and win-win cooperation.” They will engage in in-depth collaboration in areas such as solid waste collection, transportation and disposal, logistical service support, and environmental protection equipment manufacturing.
Prior to the signing ceremony, Wang Xuejun and his delegation visited the Fushan Circular Economy Industrial Park, which is under Guangzhou Environmental Protection Investment Group. They learned about the park’s operations and achievements in waste-to-energy incineration, resource recycling, environmental protection science education, and other areas. The two sides conducted in-depth and friendly discussions on matters related to deepening their cooperation. Both parties expressed their commitment to continuously expand and deepen inter-enterprise collaboration. Through a powerful alliance and resource sharing, they aim to contribute to Guangzhou’s efforts in building a green, low-carbon circular economy system and achieving the “Dual Carbon” strategic goals.
