On October 5th, the generator of the first 6400DWT refrigerated ship under construction at China Merchants Industry Qingdao Shipyard successfully completed its trial run. This has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent mooring trials and sea trials, and injected new momentum into the company’s push to achieve its fourth-quarter production targets.

In accordance with the requirements of the “100-Day Sprint”攻坚 action, the Fourth Party Branch has made the delivery of this refrigerated ship project a core task. Guided by Party building and driven by technical coordination, they have strictly adhered to the main project schedule to advance construction. To ensure the generator trial run milestone was achieved on schedule, the branch made advanced preparations and focused its efforts precisely. It organized key Party member cadres to conduct a comprehensive review and inspection of system interfaces, marking potential risk points one by one and implementing closed-loop rectification. In response to issues such as the intensive refitting tasks for the ship’s piping systems and delayed deliveries of some equipment attachments, Party members took the lead in staying on the production front line. They collaborated efficiently with procurement, technical, and production departments, and worked closely with construction teams. By re-optimizing process sequences, dynamically allocating human and material resources, and establishing measures to assign responsibility for problem resolution to individuals, they achieved rapid on-site resolution of various constraints. This ensured seamless connection between processes and uninterrupted production progress, further fostering an intense production atmosphere of “going all out to secure the milestone.”

In the next stage, the Fourth Party Branch will continue to leverage the vanguard and exemplary role of Party members, focusing on the sea trial milestone target and strengthening process control to inject stronger impetus for the company to complete its fourth-quarter production tasks.
